Tell us your favourite books of the year

The days are shortening, the trees turning to gold.  It’s autumn, the season of mellow fruitfulness according to Mr Keats but for publishers, booksellers and readers, it’s that time of year when the big books are beginning to hit the shelves in bookstores across the country.  Autumn also signals the start of the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards season and we here are gearing up to bring you the very best of Irish writing in our annual campaign.

As deliberations begin on the shortlist selections, we’d like to give you the opportunity to tell us about your favourite books of the year, the books you believe definitely merit a place on the shortlists.

Let us know your favourite books below by 11th October and we will enter all emails into a draw to win 2 tickets to join us at The Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards in the Green Room on 16th November.
