Submissions 2019

Submissions for the 2019 An Post Irish Book Awards are now closed.

Eligibility and category information

2019 dates:
Submissions close – 31st August
Shortlist launch – 24th October in the GPO at 6.45pm
An Post Irish Book Awards 2019 – 20th of November in The Convention Centre Dublin

Submitted titles will be considered by the book-industry panel who will meet in mid-September to select the shortlists.
Successful publishers will be notified confidentially in early October. Due to the volume of submissions we regret that we cannot undertake to notify unsuccessful publishers.
Copies of submitted titles are only required if your titles are shortlisted but NOT at the submissions stage.
