Niall Williams

Niall Williams was born in Dublin in 1958. He moved to New York City in 1980, returning to west Clare in 1985 to start life as a writer. A playwright and screen writer for film and television, Niall Williams is the author of nine novels. He has been shortlisted for the Irish Times Literature Prize and longlisted for the Man Booker and the IMPAC award with History of the Rain.  His international bestselling Four Letters of Love is currently being adapted for the screen. Niall Williams lives in Kiltumper in County Clare.
