Alan Amsby with David Kenny

mr-pussyAlan Amsby (aka Mr Pussy) was born in London and performed a popular drag act before moving to Ireland in the late 1960s. The subject of a Gavin Friday song and a regular on Irish TV screens, Mr Pussy remains one of the most beloved characters in Irish entertainment.

 

David Kenny is a journalist, TV presenter, author and songwriter. His best-selling books include ErindipityThe Little Buke of DublinThe Press Gang and The Splendid Years.
