Glad They Went to Specsavers!

Winners of the Specsavers Children’s Writing Competition in association with Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards were presented with their prizes.

Pictured is 13 year old Claudia Bang, a pupil at Loreto Beaufort High School in Rathfarnam, who recently won the senior category of the Specsavers Children’s Writing Competition in association with Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards. Having beaten hundreds of other entries, Claudia has received all shortlisted titles in the Specsavers Irish Children’s Book of the Year category from the Awards. Furthermore, Claudia’s school will also receive a donation of some of the best shortlisted Irish books from the last year. (Pic: Paul Sharp)
